the communication and information provided by Charlotte and Georgie were excellent, making our check-in process smooth and effortless. the room was comfortable and clean, with a great shower that was much appreciated after a long day of exploring the nearby beach. One of the highlights for our family was the family-friendly amenities provided at the hotel. the supply of cutlery and wine glasses in the room was a thoughtful touch, and the location, close to the peaceful beach, was perfect for our little ones to play and enjoy the sun. We especially loved the 24-hour break we had on West Mersea, exploring the local pub only a short walk away. Despite not meeting any staff in person, we felt safe and well taken care of during our stay. the DIY nature of the hotel added a unique charm to our visit, and we would happily stay here again on our next trip to Mersea Island.
